Nurse Shirts You Will Actually Wear Off Shift
You have enough scrubs. This is the other half of the wardrobe — the shirt you pull on after a twelve-hour shift, wear to the coffee run on your day off, and reach for again before you have got round to washing anything else. Every nurse t-shirt on this page is printed to order in the United States, in sizes that go well past where most brands stop.
Personalized Nurse Shirts, Printed With Any Name
Our personalized RN nurse shirt is printed with whatever name you give us — hers, yours, or the whole unit's if you are buying for a team. It is the one thing on this page that cannot be bought off a shelf, and it is what makes it a gift rather than a t-shirt.
Names, credentials and graduation years all print well. A custom nurse shirt with a name on it works for a newly qualified RN, a nurse practitioner, or someone who has been on the same ward for fifteen years. Type it exactly as you want it to read and check your spelling before you order, because that is precisely what we print.
Shirts by Specialty
Right now the specialty design we make is the labor and delivery nurse shirt — a floral bow and stethoscope drawn specifically for L&D and OB nurses.
We are working through the rest: ICU, ER and emergency, NICU, pediatric, oncology, cardiac, and school nurse designs are all on the list. If yours is not here yet, tell us which one you want and it moves up — we would rather build the designs people actually ask for than guess. In the meantime, the personalized shirt above will take any specialty or credential you want printed on it.
Funny Nurse Shirts and Nurse Life Tees
The humour ones exist because night shifts are long. Our "I Live Here Now" range says the quiet part out loud, and comes in three versions — the coffee and chaos tee, the RN nurse life design, and the nurse doll version.
Alongside them, the night shift raccoon is for anyone who has done three nights in a row and started to resemble one, and the hand-drawn medical doodle tee covers the whole job in one illustration.
Graphic Tees, Sweatshirts and a Tank
- Heart and stethoscope — the clean, simple one. Reads as nursing without announcing it.
- Floral graphic — softer, and the one that gets worn most outside work.
- Retro leopard — the vintage-look one, also available as a crewneck sweatshirt for colder shifts.
- Floral tank top — lightweight, for summer and for layering.
Gifts for Nurses: Graduation, Nurses Week and Retirement
Most orders here are gifts, and the occasions are predictable. Pinning ceremonies and nursing school graduation. Nurses Week in May. A first day on a new unit. A retirement after thirty years. Or the end of a stretch that went badly and deserves acknowledging.
For a nursing student or a nurse in training, the personalized shirt with a name and the graduation year on it is the one that gets kept. For a retired nurse, the same shirt with their years of service reads better than anything generic. A shirt with the right name on it lands better than flowers, and it is still around in a year.
If you are ordering for someone else, leave their name at checkout and we will print it exactly as you type it.
Sizes, Fit and Fabric
Sizes depend on the style, so here is the honest breakdown rather than a single number:
- The labor and delivery shirt, heart-and-stethoscope tee and floral graphic tee run XS to 5XL — the full range.
- Most other tees, and the crewneck sweatshirt, run S to 5XL.
- The retro leopard tee runs S to 4XL.
- The floral tank top runs XS to 2XL.
Colours run from black, navy and white through sand, sage, maroon and light pink, with designs offered in anywhere from six to fifteen shades. Fits are unisex unless the product page says otherwise, so if you prefer a closer fit, size down.
The graphics are printed into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, so they survive the wash cycle that nursing wardrobes get put through. Wash inside out in cold water, tumble dry low, and it will still look right after the tenth wash.
Printed in the USA, Shipped in 3-5 Days
Nothing here sits in a warehouse. Every shirt is printed in the United States after you order it, then shipped within three to five days. If you are buying for a specific date — a graduation, a Nurses Week gift — allow two weeks and you will be comfortable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I put a name on the shirt?
Yes, on the personalized RN shirt. Add the name at checkout and we print it exactly as you type it, so check the spelling. Credentials and graduation years work too.
Do you have designs for specific specialties?
Labor and delivery is the one we make as a dedicated design today. ICU, ER, NICU, pediatric, oncology, cardiac and school nurse designs are in progress — tell us which you want and it moves up the list. Until then, the personalized shirt will take any specialty printed on it.
What sizes do you carry?
XS to 5XL depending on the style. The labor and delivery shirt, heart-and-stethoscope tee and floral graphic tee cover the full XS-5XL range; most other tees and the sweatshirt start at S; the retro leopard tee stops at 4XL; the tank top runs XS to 2XL.
Are these good gifts for a nursing graduation?
They are one of the easier gifts to get right — particularly the personalized shirt with a name and the graduation year on it. Order about two weeks ahead.
Do you have anything for a retired nurse?
The personalized shirt is the one people choose. Put the name, the credential and the years of service on it, and it works as a retirement gift in a way an off-the-shelf design does not.
Will the print survive washing?
Yes. The design is printed into the fabric rather than layered on top. Wash inside out in cold water and tumble dry low.
Can I order these for a whole unit?
Yes, and there is no minimum. Order each size separately in the same design. For more than about fifteen, message us first so the run is printed together.
